Medium · 5–7M is a hum you can feel, and kids love saying it. These letter M coloring pages pair a big M with a monkey and his banana, a little mouse, a meerkat, a mermaid and a moon mobile hanging over a crib. One page has milk and a cookie, another has music notes inside the M, and there is a spotted mushroom and a smiling mop with a bucket.
The capital M has two peaks, like mountains. Color each peak a different color for a fun look. Brown for the monkey, gray for the mouse and a silver-blue tail for the mermaid all work well.
Hum the M. Close your lips and hum: "mmm, milk." Your child can feel their lips buzz. Do it before each new crayon.
Mountain peaks. Count the peaks in the M. Draw a row of M mountains along the bottom of the page.
Music time. On the music notes page, clap a beat for each note as your child colors it.
M and W. Flip an M upside down and it looks like a W. Show your child with a printed letter and see their surprise.
Yes. The M is a common early letter, often in a child's first words like mom and milk. The pages here are mostly Medium, so preschoolers may need help with the smaller parts.
Magenta, maroon, mint and mustard yellow all start with M. Mint green suits the mermaid's tail, and maroon is a deep red for the mushroom cap.
