Medium · 5–7C is a curvy, open letter that toddlers find easy to color. These letter C coloring pages put it next to a cow, a cat, a castle on a hill, a cupcake and a smiling car driving right through the letter. A caterpillar crawls over one C, and a camel stands in the desert on another.
The open shape of C means fewer tight corners, so it is a good letter for children still learning to stay inside lines. Try red for the cherries, pink for the cupcake frosting and any color at all for the car.
Hard C sound. Practice the "k" sound C makes in cat, cow and cup. Later, you can point out that C sometimes says "s", as in circle, but keep the first lesson to one sound.
Trace the curve. Ask your child to trace the C with a finger, starting at the top. This is the same motion they will use to write it, and to start a, d, g and o.
Sort the pictures. Print three C pages and three from another letter. Mix them up and have your child sort the pictures into a C pile and a not-C pile.
Cupcake counting. On the cupcake page, add sprinkles together and count them as you go. Small dots are good practice for pencil grip.
Yes. The letter C has a simple open curve, and the Easy pages pair it with large shapes like a cow or a cat. A three year old can color one in a few minutes with chunky crayons.
Cyan, coral, cream and crimson start with C. Cyan is a bright sky blue, coral is a pinky orange and crimson is a deep red. A crimson cherry or a cream-colored cow makes a good color lesson.
Press Download all at the top of this page. Every letter C picture goes into one PDF, which you can print or save for later.
Color the cat, cow and car pages, then cut out each picture. Glue them onto a big paper C drawn on poster board. Children can say each word as they glue it down.
