Tricky · 8+Our Christmas animal coloring pages bring winter wildlife and pets into the holiday. A penguin in a beanie stands by two gifts, a fox sits beside a decorated tree, a seal balances an ornament on its nose and a hedgehog holds a wrapped present. A walrus wears a Santa hat, a robin perches on a snowy birdhouse and a teddy bear sips hot cocoa.
Real animal colors look great with festive extras. Try gray and white for the seal, orange for the fox and brown for the squirrel, then add red Santa hats and striped scarves in red and green.
Winter homes. Talk about where each animal lives in winter: penguins on ice, squirrels in trees, robins in gardens. Draw a home for one of them.
Warm clothes. Ask why the animals wear scarves and hats in the pictures. Then name what real animals use to stay warm, like fur, feathers and fat.
Animal gift swap. Color two animals and decide what gift each would give the other. Draw the gifts in the margin.
Sort by type. Sort the pages into birds, mammals and pets. Count how many are in each group.
Many are Medium pages with snowy scenes, which suit ages 5 to 7. Toddlers can still color the main animal and its hat with chunky crayons while a grown-up fills in the background.
